Returns and Cancellations

Linuxlaptops2go.co.uk is happy to arrange an exchange or refund for products where the circumstances satisfy our Terms and Conditions. If you would like to return any product or cancel your order, we urge you to contact us as soon as possible for confirmation of how your request will be processed. Any delay on your part may compromise your statutory rights under the relevant pieces of legislation.

Returns
We recommend that you inspect any goods you have ordered from us immediately upon delivery, and contact us within 7 working days. Where we can verify that items have been lost/damaged in transit, or that they are non-compliant with the contract or defective, we will send a replacement or offer a refund which includes all delivery costs incurred by you.

Cancellations
Our contracts are made at the point of dispatch. Should you change your mind before the products are dispatched, we will cancel the order and refund full payment. As soon as the products have been dispatched, the following applies.

We do not automatically allow a cancellation of non-defective goods if they have been ordered in error or are no longer required. However, we do recommend that you contact us within 7 working days of delivery of the products to see how we can help. If a return is authorised, we will action a refund equivalent to the original price paid minus any or all of the following: delivery costs, costs associated with remedying any damage caused while the products are in your care, and/or a handling and restocking fee.

Distance Selling Regulations
If you are a non-business consumer and the contract has been completed entirely via the internet, these regulations give you a cooling-off period during which you have the right to change your mind. You can cancel the order, by giving us notice in writing, up to 7 working days after the good are delivered. Under these provisions, you are responsible for returning the goods to us at your own cost.

Products Under Warranty
All of the hardware products we sell are covered by a 12-month Manufacturer’s return-to-base warranty. Please contact us in the first instance if your laptop develops a fault during this period.

In all cases …
Please note that, where appropriate, you may initially be required to return the products to us, for our action or inspection, at your own cost. You have a statutory duty to take care of all products and accessories while they are in your possession.

We request that you return any items as new in the original packaging. The parcel you return should contain all delivered items along with the returns number we issue when you contact us. Remember not to affix the returns number to the products in such a way that it becomes permanent or causes any damage, cosmetic or otherwise. Where products are being returned under the provisions of the hardware warranty and the original packaging is no longer available, you should ensure that any packaging you do use is secure. We are unable to accept responsibility for any items that are lost or damaged in the post.
